Thomas Musvit Paintings
Thomas Musvit is a Dutch painter from Holland (the Netherlands, Northern Europe). Born on October 7th, 1984, in Dordrecht.
The paintings of Musvit are the result, or rather a mixture of a fascination for the classic paintings of world-renowned Dutch legends Vincent van Gogh & Rembrandt van Rijn, with a not-so-subtle turn towards the absurd and a deep-seeded love and understanding of natural light and color.
The name Musvit actually originates from Denmark. It is the name of a small colourful European bird called Parus Major, from the family of Paridae.
Little known fact.
Dordrecht is one of the oldest cities of the Old World. One of the first uses of what we now know as 'Democracy', were introduced to the world in Dordrecht by Johan & Cornelis de Witt.
