Huitaca
Huitaca ~Goddess of of Pleasure ~ South America Huitaca was a beautiful and feminine goddess. Huitaca is associated with dance, art, music, pleasure, and sexual liberation.
She is often seen with owls near her, or with her face resembling an owl, or wings on her back. She was known to be a goddess of dance, happiness, and also drinking indulgently. If there was a goddess of the Party, it would be Huitaca. More traditional gods such as Bochica, were mortified at the behaviors of this party girl goddess. Bochica cursed her name, and word spread quickly that she had terrible behavior. The legend says that due to her wanton behavior, the creator god Bochica cursed her and turned her into an owl!
